ISO Chicago and Pittsburgh missing link prints

sdavissdavis Posts: 960
I know this is a crazy long shot but I'm just throwing it out there. I would like to have all three as I already have the Atlanta print. Pretty much all I have is cash to offer. I personally have never seen the Chicago print for sale. Please let me know if any one is interested.

Anybody? Have a few trade items that I could include

I hate to say it but a Chicago "Blackie" 2000 print would probably start around $2000.00 these days. And that's the low end. That poster is going to be a very expensive item.

Ive seen crazier things happen. Would love to talk to someone that has one to see what it might take or consider a partial trade. I do have some prints that I would think about trading. I also have the deed to my house. LOL

Posters of the Pittsburgh and Chicago shows in 2000 and only a handful of them ever were produced or sold to the public. Rumor is the Pittsburgh poster started to sell only for a few brief minutes the day of the show and then were pulled by the band. The Chicago poster never sold at the show but in July of 2001 were sold online for a few hours and again were pulled by the band. A few lucky fans got posters to these shows. Rumor is there are about 20-50 floating around.

I was at the Chicago show and would love the poster but never at these prices. I think only one Chicago print has been sold in the past two years. Went for $1700.00.

Not sure were the print sold? I don't know the story why the band had them pulled either. Though... I could take a wild guess with the "Blackie" poster.

I dont know how long I will search for this print, but it is fun looking for those hard to find items. And expensive when you find them.

    Here's the story.

In 2001 subscribers of Ames bros mailing list got an email from missing link. The three posters we know were listed, with talk of other posters, from shows with no posters to follow. About a week later another email was sent, saying there was a misunderstanding, or something and posters were no longer for sale. They said refunds would be given, but some posters were shipped.

Rumors are that missing link is Ames bros. the email came from the same host company, and missing link was based out of Seattle.

Right place, right time was the person who got one for 1300 recently.

Haywood is right, if this poster ends up on ebay as an auction, things will get wild.

It's too bad that $1,300 sale wasn't added to the EB price history. Was there an eBay link?

Good luck to those searching for one.

Never seen one on ebay, but would love to.

The person who sold the other two missing link posters recently is the one who sold the blackie, or so the story goes.

Ebeans is missing so many sales, not just PJ.
